Kirsten Meisterling is a performance-driven, client-centered consultant who works with health systems, hospitals, and physician practices to advance their strategic, financial, and operational capabilities. She joined Stroudwater Associates in 2021 and is dedicated to solving the complex business challenges of healthcare institutions, creating transformative change to impact peoples’ lives at scale.

At Stroudwater, Kirsten focuses on physician-hospital alignment, physician practice and hospital performance improvement, and commercial payer contracting. She advises hospitals and healthcare providers on physician compensation market trends, compensation strategy, and Stark Law and Anti-Kickback Statute regulations.

Before joining Stroudwater, Kirsten was a managing consultant at Strategic Benefit Advisors, where she worked with large employers on their employee health and welfare benefits strategy and operations. She primarily consulted with health systems and higher education institutions.

Kirsten earned her Master of Science in Healthcare Leadership from Brown University and her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Vermont. Kirsten serves on the board of a non-profit mental health organization in Boston.
